speedtst.online provides a free internet speed testing service that measures:

Download speed (in Megabits per second - Mbps)
Upload speed (in Megabits per second - Mbps)
Ping/Latency (in milliseconds - ms)

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties.

3. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. You must NOT:

Use the Service to test connections you don't own or have permission to test
Attempt to interfere with, disrupt, or damage the Service
Use automated tools, scripts, or bots to run excessive tests
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code
Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Attempt to overload or stress test our servers
Bypass any security measures or access restrictions

4. Accuracy Disclaimer

While we strive for accuracy, speed test results may vary due to many factors including:

Network congestion
Server location and load
Your device performance
WiFi interference
Background applications using bandwidth
ISP throttling or prioritization

We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of test results. Results should be used as estimates and general indicators of connection performance.

5. No Warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to:

Warranties of merchantability
Fitness for a particular purpose
Non-infringement
Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of results
Uninterrupted or error-free service

6. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, speedtst.online and its operators shall not be liable for:

Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
Loss of data, profits, or business opportunities
Damages arising from use or inability to use the Service
Reliance on speed test results
ISP disputes based on our test results

In no event shall our total liability exceed $100 USD.

7. User Content and Data

Your speed test history is stored locally on your device using browser localStorage. We do not store this data on our servers. You are responsible for:

Backing up your test history if desired
Understanding that clearing browser data will delete your history
Not relying solely on stored test history for critical decisions

8. Third-Party Services

Our Service uses third-party services for IP geolocation and other features. These services have their own terms of service and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the practices or content of third-party services.

9. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of speedtst.online, including but not limited to:

Text, graphics, logos, and images
Software and code
Design and layout

Are owned by speedtst.online or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

10. Service Modifications

We are not your ISP and cannot help with your internet service issues beyond providing speed test information.

12. ISP Disputes

While our speed test results may be used to discuss service quality with your ISP, we:

Are not responsible for disputes between you and your ISP
Cannot guarantee ISPs will accept our test results
Recommend running multiple tests at different times for best evidence
Suggest using multiple speed test services for comparison

13. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. Please review it to understand how we collect and use information.

14. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless speedtst.online and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

Your use of the Service
Your violation of these Terms
